Alright guys more problems with the X! Seems as right when I hit 200k the truck started to hate me. I still love it tho… at least I try to. Ok so I did a Volant intake install on Sunday! On the first pull I did I noticed some spark knock/ pinging. It went away for a day or 2 and on my way home from work yesterday. The pinging got worse. You have to listen for it but sometimes it can be loud. I know some pinging is normal but this is definitely exceeding the ping limits lol. I Started to run 93 a while ago to stop it and it worked all summer until now. Let me know what y’all think!

Long Term Fuel Trim. p1283 points to a lean Bank 2 with causes
Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1
Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 heater
Fuel pressure
Fuel injector
Intake air leaks

The full procedure is in the Engine Control section of the FSM (https://www.nicoclub.com/service-manual?fsm=Xterra/2005/ec.pdf) on pg 504, but it amounts to checking grounds by the battery and under the air box, then checking voltages at the sensor and the ECU. Final step is swapping out the sensor.

Since you did the volant recently, I'd check the ground under that; it may be something simple.
