Headed back up this Sunday. Weather should be much cooler, and the X will enjoy doing the trail without AC blasting. Plan is to meet at the 7-11 in Woodstock, VA at 0930.

Let me know if you're interested in joining!

What time did you go and how crowded was it? This will be my first time there on a weekend.

This past sunday it was not super busy, only had to pull over a couple of times. Went 2 times at the last holiday weekend and it was packed. But theres usually a lot of atvs running around

Are you starting from woodstock or edinburgh side?

Woodstock side start. I'd say I wouldn't mind turning around and running the reverse too if there's little traffic, but I think I'm going to check out campsites on the north side at the end.

Ok so start by the woodstock tower then? I may be bringing a +1

Wait, sorry. I got switched up. We're meeting at the 7-11 in Woodstock, but then driving to Edinburgh Gap and starting Peter's Mill Run there and running north. The end will be at the tower. My fault.

+1 passenger or other vehicle? Either way, the more the merrier!

Leaves are starting to turn up there. Only two of us went, but there were lots of folks on the trail. We ran into a Jeep club that had a lone Xterra in it, and we ended up getting in touch and want to try to do another run the weekend after next hopefully.

Yeah, that's the guy. He joined here: @Pro-4K

He's talking about Flagpole Knob Saturday-Sunday camping. I'm up for about anything as long as I won't break the truck or get stranded.
