anybody had success dealing with this other than replacing the EVAP cut bypass valve?

I replaced my valve with a used eBay valve and everything’s cool now.
There’s also a million other little connections around there that need looking into, but mine was solved with the ‘new’ valve.
Also, on my ‘02, most of the connections were different than what more common ones were, ie when looking at forums, everyone was like all that stuff is right here, but on my truck it was a diff location and different connections.
Either way, good luck. Wasn’t a fun thing to chase down, or in a convenient location(s) either.

I recently replaced the gas tank with a used one. Could there be anything inside that would cause the same code, or maybe I hooked one of the hoses up wrong?

So to solve this one....the code can also be thrown when you hook up the two small hoses near the filler pipe backwards. Just an FYI, mark one when you remove them.

Dam! The code came back...looks like I have to replace the valve.
