no more snorkel? What you patch the hole with?
No snork, no stinger.
I covered the hole with one of those Pep Boyz custom aftermarket brake pedals:
Ugh, can you tell us why you removed the snorkel?
If he ends up under water.. Where the snorkel was.. I think he then has to worry about his X being in a pond/lake or in the ocean, forever.
So, OZ, what are you gonna do with that snorkel?
J Everett said:That, right there, that's a stroke of genius.
Its higher than the stock intake, but if anyone was ever in water that high (not that I ever plan to be) they would all have issues about being submerged forever. FWIW you'd need to do a lot more than a snorkel to make an X waterproof.
Hopefully we will meet on one of the SCCX trips.
Your rig is badass dude!
Why'd you ditch the snorkel?
Hey Oz, where did you get the trail LED strobes from?
Probably with a larger piggy bank than myself, though.
Any reason you chose the D60 and 14 bolt (maybe it has to do with the rear... I think its a semi float axle?)? Are they matched axles out of the same GM? Whenever you go and pick of the D60, make sure they have a forklift, or something. They weigh a ton.
Is this the end of the "X of Oz" ?
Thanks Mel - sure thing! Here's where the secondary battery sits:
Primary Batt with aux fuse block, relays

I've decided to keep the X
