Hi all,
Just picked up a new to me 03 w/3.3l auto 2wd. 157k miles on the ticker. P/o had taken it in trade for a boat and it had been sitting in his back lot acting as a security block for his other boats since 2018. After driving it the 10 miles home it was disassembled for a timing belt, hose and gasket replacement.
It has good compression across the board so I left the heads in place, but removed the upper and lower manifolds and all the associated (phuku Nissan engineers) random bs. Decided I wanted to paint the manifolds while I had them out so they are now a close match to the “just blue” that Nissan used.
I’m glad I decided to do the TB at 157k instead of just trusting that it was done when called for. I was able to flip the belt +/- 3/4” with just finger tips no pressure. I can only assume it was a 20 year old belt. Dodged a bullet on the belt and replacing 20year old gaskets to boot. The poor X had a steady stream of oil pouring out the valve cover gasket when i bought it. I am still in the process of replacing all the hoses as it was easier to just cut them rather than try to save them (why anyone would is beyond me).
I discovered the pvc system was obviously not functional as those hoses were all split. Hell most of the hoses have turned to dust in my hands. Other than sifting through the FSM for the various systems, is there a definitive list with ALL the assorted coolant, heater, and vacuum hoses?

i dont know of a complete vacuum hose kit, but this hose kit is fantastic. Do you have access to the FSM (Factory service manual?) its free online and can help you track some of that down.

Thank you. Yes I do have the full FSM downloaded but hate to say it those diagrams suck and having all the various systems scattered throughout the book kind of makes it difficult to follow.
