Ok yall...i just bought my 1st gen xterra...looking to mod it.I figured Id start by lifting it...any suggestions? IM not ganna go crazy with my first lift not looking too spend a fortune yet lol...

What everyone else said. Look into the Poor Mans Lift. I bet its everything you want at this point.

I've been running the PML on mine. Along with some good tires, and shackles in the rear, I think you'll be very surprised how far the X will take you. I was originally planning on doing a body lift, 3" suspension lift, and stuffing 33's under mine, but I've come to the realization that for the type of wheeling I'm doing (mostly long distance overland stuff, with some technical trails mixed in), I just don't need it.

I'd rather spend the money on figuring out how to carry more gas (which I think I've found a solution to being able to carry an additional 12 gallons, in addition to the 10 on my tire carrier).

Also, you can't say you bought one without posting pics. Just saying. ;)
