As the title says, I hope to have itdone by spring, plans are independent swing arm suspension with air bags. 360coupler for the hitch and telescopic tongue. So far I have the tub bent and weldedup and now on to the frame when time permits.

I love it man!! I hope you'll add this to your line of products :) Been looking for a offroad camping trailer.
The plan is to make a few, and seE how it evolves as we go, It will also have a hinged lid that will take a RTT. Thx.

Yes its based off the M416. Looked around for one to rebuild but all I found was junk so decided to build it.

This is outstanding!!! I started from the frame end first. Your completed version would sell guaranteed. However, if you were to also offer just this portion as a starting point for those that want to make their own... IT WILL SELL ALSO!!!! I'll buy one when ready right now!

There is 1 USA made trailer company that I know of worth anything. Do we see #2?

Looks good Tony!! How's the tub coming along?

Tub is pretty much done other then fenders and add ons, need to decide on how I will attach it to the frame, I don't want the attachments visible. Any thoughts?

I was thinking about tabs. That way the frame could be used for a tub and a flatbed, Unbolt/swap/bolt on. If that's a possibility since the wiring goes with the frame. Unless you're adding water and gas lines for cooking.

First Fill-Up (of many)
Looking good! We have yet to begin on the old trailer we bought back in January. Need to get the mods done on both vehicles before Gone, then it'll be time to turn our attention to the trailer. Can't wait to see what you have planned!

put some rub rails on, now to plate the steps and fenders.

Looks awesome...

What kind of hitch are you considering for this? If as of yet undecided, might I recommend the "ring and pintle" style that the military uses on their trailers for increased flexibility without binding issues, (as well as great theft deterrent because most don't have a compatible hitch)

I personally second this and would like to add that they do make a 360 degree rotating lunette ring so the rig and trailer can rotate separate of each other. If that doesn't appeal to you, look up a lock-n-roll hitch. They're made specifically for off-road enthusiasts. Not as solid as a pintle hitch, but nothing is as solid as those. I mean, they use those to tow 50,000+ lbs
