Off-road lights

Alright, so I'm looking to put some lights on my X for extra visability off-road, but I'm not trying to spend over 100-200$. Can anyone give me the best lights for the money? I know all of the name brands such as KC but they're a little expensive.

Also, bar or regular spotlights? And where to mount them?

Anybody have any insight on this bar? The low price and positive customer reviews are attractive, but possibly misleading.

Thanks for all the help

I had 4 of Eagle Eye Lights 6" 130W lights on my roof of my Gen 1 (refer to link in signature). They were extremely bright and didn't break the bank. Combine them with a homebrew light bar or B&M bar from Xterra Performance and it can be had for right around $200. Lights aren't cheap. For a little more, however, you could get a low end LED light bar.

You should contact N.Y.X, he sells LED light bars for cheap. You can fit a 22" light bar in the bumper mouth with minimal work. He may even have a discount code available for that one.
His website is http://extremeledlightbars.com

There are probably many other options, but N.Y.X was the first I thought of and he's on this forum.

I have 4 6" KC daylighters for sale. Long range 130w, black. Come with 4 of the yellow covers, and 4 of the rock guards with the KC letters painted red. I'll sell them to you for $150 plus shipping. Jus throwing that out there.

At this point I'm kinda leaning to LED bar because of the lack of darker spots where the headlights are t focused. Check out the bar in the origilnal post and let me know what you think please!

Probably just above the windshield, but my thinking is that with a light bar in that mid-size I could mount it in quite a few places. Roof, on the hood, and on the front bumper. For now the plan is roof though.

Take a look at the HIDs on ebay, you can usually get a pair for just about $100.00 and they are stupidly bright. I used torun two sets of 130w eagle eyes, and a pair of HIDs put them to shame.

One a side note, if you put them near your CB antenna they will cause issues, but you can usually adjust the radio out of it.

I hope you're not talking about HID headlights being $100

Would it be possible to buy just the lights and casing and wiring and stick a pair in the slots underneath the main headlights? 100$ is pricey for me for a couple lights, and if I don't need that casing I could probly cut down the price a little.
