Here's a fun game we get to play in NYC.
Look at your watch, if you were driving the vehicle you daily drive right now could you legally park it to the left or right of this sign post at this moment?

At the time of your posts you could legally park your fully registered vehicle to the right of that sign post!

In NYC the NO STANDING sign indicates that vehicles may not stand, wait or park at the location. You can’t wait or stop to load/unload packages at curbside. You may stop to “expeditiously” drop off or pick up passengers.
As I understand it the NO STANDING sign pictured is telling me that between April and November, on Fridays, 4pm to 11pm, Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 11pm the NO STANDING rule is in effect on both sides of that sign to ether end of the block. Since that sign is on top it supersedes the signs below

Been to NY many times. The tourist things are fun, the NYC part is not. I don't like people way way more than that.

It's interesting how different folks are, especially within this game. I love it here in NYC and doubt I'll ever move unless it was to another big city (London, Rome, etc).

I enjoy getting into the woods or on the ocean, wide open spaces and all but miss the city if I'm away from her for any length of time.
