So after 3 hours under the hood, I think my IPDM might be shot.
I swapped in the front LED bulbs today. All is well. Got the load resisters wired up, turn signals work perfectly.
Problem is, I have no running lights in the front.
Busted out the FSM. Tracked the circuit to the IPDM and fuse 36 is blown. Okay. Replace. Immediately blows. After much checking with a continuity checker and reading the FSM,i found the two plugs on the IPDM that have the marker light circuit on them. Both tie back to fuse 36. I disconnect those plugs from the IPDM and it still blows the fuse. I pull the plugs that feed ground to the IPDM. Still blows the fuse.
With my meter I can see that the fuse leg goes to ground. So there's a short in the IPDM. Because with nothing else connected, it still blows that fuse.
So, do I need to replace the whole thing?
