12/14/24 --- Took the dash out to change the heater core. This included steering column removal. All back together now but when I turn the key to start all lights work & fans start up but it wont crank over. I have checked the 2 fuses in the glove box & the 40 amp in the engine compartment. Removed steering & ignition again to see if i missed plugging something in but all is correct.
12/22/24 --- I have taken the column back out to see if I missed a plug. Only 7 of them & all are in. I did notice today that the wires that attach to the black fitting bolted at the top of the ignition, The black ring around the top were losing insulation but they are not touching each other or metal. I have checked all the fuses including at the battery that have anything to do with ignition and all are good. When I turn the key everything comes on and I can here a click somewhere but unable to locate that on my own. This vehicle has had no starting issues until the dash removal for the heater core.
