1 1/2" DOM for the main tubes in front, 1 1/4 welded seam for the supports and stinger. All DOM for the rear. Plenty strong, went a little smaller to save weight and get more of a pre-runner look. The "spine" of the front bumper is 1/4" thick square steel stock, welded to the frame rails which we bobbed to get the tighter approach angle. It's pretty damn solid, and the tube bumper comes off with six bolts, three on each side.

Looks great! How do you like the Nittos?

So far so good. Excellent in mud and the rocks. Decent in the snow and sand. Wearing well so far. Got em at a good price, don't know if I'd buy them again at 290 per tire, which is what they're going for now...

Worth noting - I thought it was strange the instructions called for bolts to be installed upside down, so I disregarded them. Turns out there's a reason, and that's because the bolt ends rub/bind when installed right side up. Lesson learned. Also, I was able to do this without jacking the front end up or taking off the wheels, and got my alignment pretty darn close to spec (1/4" total toe with the tape measure). Finally, if you get one of these, don't forget to get a 1 5/8" wrench for the pitman arm nut. I made do, but it wasn't ideal.

nice man you going to undercoat the the wheel well, when i removed the plastics it was annoying with all the gravel that kicked off tires from the road but i guess if youre going to driving an s2000 around as your dd then no problem

Good choice, they can make all of the difference on a long trail ride, Takes the jarring blows out of your back to an astounding degree.
