I noticed this on my truck the other day and have been digging around online a few days. I’ve found others reporting the same (and also a mention of Radflos doing the same), so just adding a thread here.

This is my passenger side only, and it appears others only had it happen on the passenger side. There isn’t constant contact, but clearly they touch at some point while moving.

The only semi-definitive claim I’ve seen as the cause was someone saying their aftermarket LCAs had the shock mount welded incorrectly too far back and they “confirmed” this by comparing to the driver side. I’m slightly skeptical because both the Moog I have installed on mine and the Mevotech set sitting in my garage (waiting for someone else to install) both have the same exact difference in distance from the forward shock mount and edge of the LCA. That would be a big coincidence across brands, and I’m wondering if that’s just the correct OE design. If somebody has Nissan LCAs on, could you see if yours are identical?

In my case, I took it in for an alignment and this was my before picture. I did just change UCAs but hoping that was at least part of it.

I’m putting a piece of tape on there to see if there’s new contact and will report back.9D48D30A-C88A-4998-97ED-839DD5CC4225.jpeg
