Now that I’m re-watching today, I’m unsure. The weight is about midway between the Hefty aluminum and steel. I really like my grille lightbar while offroad at night and I don’t see a place for that to go. The fog light cutouts aren’t round, and I’m not sure they’re large enough for my 3” fog lights (I also really like and want to keep). I do like the low profile though.

Makes me want Nissan to put an SUV body on it.
I want to believe resurrecting the X is why they’re coming out with accessories now, but realistically a new X would have the new front end similar to the Frontier and the bumper would probably be different.

Speaking of, I wonder how this bumper looks with a 2005-2008 Xterra because this looks like it was designed to go around the 2009+ grille.

I would imagine it would fit the 05-08 just fine. It is cut out to fit around the dip in the grill on the +09, but he mentions you have to trim that grill to fit a winch so you may not have to do it on an 05-08. I do like how close it fits to the body.

That cutout is what I mean. Since the 05-08 top part stops right there I’m wondering if there’s a gap. Or if the upper part of the 05-08 sticks out slightly farther it will look even better because it may sit right on it. Just thinking out loud. I’m excited to see more shots of it from other angles.

I need to convince somebody with a Hefty aluminum they need to “upgrade” to the Nismo bumper so I can buy their old one. In addition to the weight savings I think it’s easily the best looking.
I honestly think they modeled the Nismo one after HeftyFab. Maybe that’s why mine took soooo long. They routed it to Nismo first.

FYI, Z1 Offroad got a shipment of front bumpers in and just sold the last one of what they had today. They have another shipment coming in mid-July and currently nobody in line for the backorder. That presumably means Nissan dealers may be getting them as well.

I work at Nissan and there’s 4 left at our local warehouse and a bunch of people got their orders in so this batch is almost done

If it came with a skid I’d be really tempted. Apparently it’s incompatible with every existing aftermarket skid too from what I’ve read.

Nope nothing about it but can you not keep at least the stock one with it?
I saw one YouTube video where the guy bent his stock one up behind it. I have a Shrock one that I’ve heard won’t fit and don’t have my stock one anymore. Not really in the market though - just asking generally because I know there are some that would want/need a proper skid for offroading.

Still waiting on the one I ordered from a dealer in NC (best price I could find at the time) back in November. They had told me mid-March, then when that passed they said it was a supply thing and to keep checking back. Except now they don’t respond to emails or pick up their phone anymore. On the order page the status changed from ‘received’ to ‘shipped’ a few weeks back, but with no tracking info. Now trying to contact Nismo directly to see if they can give any info.

I’d order online from another dealer the online price is mostly competitive against the instore one
