New to this forum but I love my 2008 Xterra X

I've lived in the good ol' South all my life, love to get outdoors and currently reside in Soddy Daisy, Tn. I was advised by my local Nissan parts guy to find an Xterra Forum and once there I should be able to find out about any modification I intend to do on my Xterra, so here I am and my first mod I'm looking for is doing a swap of my C200K Rear End Assy with a 2011 Xterra with Off Road Package (I believe it to be a M226) which I recently purchased but haven't driven out of town to pick it up. I will post this in the suitable forum section and cut this post short in hopes of reaching out to someone who has done just this type of mod...

Thanks for your reply but is it due to the yoke bolting pattern on my current one with the C200K vs the M226 or maybe it's not strong enough for the limited slip rear end?

Welcome!

If you're running stock ride height you'll need the Auto P4x driveshaft. If you're lifted over 2", you can get by with the stock Auto X, S, SE shaft. I've been running mine for about a year now.

There is a M226 swap thread in the 2nd Gen section. Check it out.
