New To Me X

Bought a 2014 S and have been lurking and learning from those here for a couple of weeks. She's completely stock now, but will have a 2" lift soon (Lord willing). I'm an excited owner and glad to be a new guy in the community.

welcome.
There's a lot of information in this forum from engine swaps to titan swaps and everything in between.
Xterra basics
33" tires will fit stock (even though you said you're doing a 2" lift)
Even with the lift you will need to do the Melt Mod which involves taking a heat gun to the back part of your front wheel liners and pressing the plastic as flat as you can.
If you plan to do any wheeling ditch the mud flaps and step rails if you can
If your definitely going to wheel it skids first!

Have fun these trucks are really capable off-road vehicles.

I'm looking forward to making some mods, but probably small ones at first. This will be my daily commuter and weekend fishing, hunting rig-- no nail bitting stuff. Id like to keep it nice for awhile- it only has 37k mi. I'm doing the lift mostly for esthetics, but I hope to upsize the tires in a few years. I'll probably wait till the current nearly new ones are worn.
