New shocks needed

The best springs won’t make for good ride quality without good shocks.

Easy way to test your shocks is to quickly put your body weight on the bumper and jump off. If the vehicle stops motion quickly, shocks are probably fine. If it bounces once or twice, your shocks are probably garbage.

Seems to me whenever I replaced just a front or rear set of shocks, it only aggravated the problem. I’m a fan of replacing them on all four corners at the same time.

Found a few deals but not sure Bilstein or kyb gas adjust .. kyb's are cheaper, little stiffer..

If it were me, for my application, I’d opt for the Bilstein 5100. But I primarily use my Xterra when I need to haul or tow my trailer around.

I had the kyb g2 on mine for a while. They were fine for city, but I still felt a little bouncy with them. No where near as bouncy as my 180k factory ones, but not the improvement I wanted.

Spoke to a guy online , found the b6 Bilsteins, told me those won't fit my car sooo..

Looking for a deal on the 5100s..

Edit: oh ok the b6 are 4600. So they should fit. Still gonna opt for the 5100 I think, if same price.
