Had 3 different very used Isuzu Rodeos over a 10+ year period. Couldn't find a good enough Rodeo this time but found a low miles 2004 XTerra. The XTerra has the same design philosophy and is VERY equivalent in capability to my beloved Rodeos. Just in to my 3rd year owning the XTerra. Very pleased to find this site to jump start the learning curve with the XTerra. Haven't done much with the X yet. Added a receiver hitch in the rear. Replace the front sway bar links 'cause BOTH had failed. New shocks. New TreadWright CLAWs after getting the last miles out of a set of General Grabber ATs. My hunting lease is generally not to demanding. My son in law/hunting partner used to hunt it with a mid-80s fwx mini-van. I would only occasionally have to drag him out with a Rodeo. I've really been pleased with the XTerra off road and the NEW CLAWs will only enhance that capability.
