need help with P1464

im getting a code ( P1464 Fuel level sensor circuit ground signal ) on a 2000 xterra.
Already replaced the sending unit in the tank. that didn't fix it. I have the manual but cant figure out what it tells me to do. can anyone tell what terminals I need to check and what im looking for? or is this a common problem with an easy solution? I started with 5 codes and got them all cleared except this one. I'm stuck.

Check the following.

• ● Harness connectors F36, M81
• ● Harness connectors M67, B101
• ● Harness for open and short between ECM and ground

when i look at the pinout of the ECM it doesn't look like mine or i don't know how to interpret it.

yeah it says its still under recall. will call stealership in the am. boy are they in for a surprise lol

Beat me to it. nothing like making them take care of a recall. My old 2000 had that same issue, they fixed it easily.
