Hello All,

I swapped out a non-working aftermarket radio in my 2011 X over the weekend and ran into an issue. The passenger air bag connector (wiring harness side) was missing and the two wires were jammed onto the pins on the light. I failed to notice this prior to them coming off. Now I have no light and an air bag alert on my dash.

At this point I believe I have 3 options:
1. Have someone on this forum tell me which two pins to use and put it back the way it was (least favorite)
2, Buy the connector (most favorite), (need part no)
3. Find a junk yard with a 2nd gen X and go cut it myself

Anyone here know or can teach me how to find the part number?
Anyone know which 2 of the 3 pins to use?

I just bought the X a couple of month ago and I'm sure I will find other issues as I proceed with my updates. Thanks for looking. . .

Junk yard will be your best bet. Cut off a good one, solder the two wires to your harness.

Once you reconnect the lamp, you need to do an airbag reset on the system to get the error light to go away.

So, $500 for a Dash Wiring Harness. . . Not gonna do it. I realized there are only 10 possible combinations and I'm going to assume the middle pin is a constant to begin with. Anyway since it is a diode electricity only flows one way so I shouldn't burn it up, it just won't work. I found these on Amazon:
Pluggable LED Wire Connectors
Hopefully these will work after I solder the wires on the actual passenger air bag LED. I will then have a useable disconnect.

So, I got the wire connectors and found the two wires were in the outside positions (lucky first try). With them installed I ran the SRS Reset and it works fine now. I have now surrounded the bare, old connectors with epoxy and can use the other connectors to remove the dash piece.
