New here. Thought I would share my 1st gen with everyone. Eventually I plan to lift it. So far, most everything I've done to it has been to get it drivable. Bought back in February and it came with Tacoma wheels on it. I quickly sold those wheels, got new tires for the OEM wheels and then painted the OEM wheels. Removed the running boards and vent visors. I've replaced the the upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, and the shocks and struts and new exhaust. I have the parts to tune it up and replace a couple leaking gaskets, but have taken a break from working on it. I'll get around to these things this summer. Pics are day I bought it to today.

Nice. Love the color. It's come a long ways already. What are your plans for the rig? Has the timing belt been changed? Service interval is 105k,fyi. If you don't know if it's been done, I'd recommend doing it before you really start driving it.

Can't wait to see how it progresses!

I have the OEM timing belt kit sitting in my garage along with an OEM thermostat. I also have everything needed for a tune up along with misc. fluids for the trans, transfer case and differentials. The end goal is to make it an off-roader. I also want to delete the secondary cats and just go with the pipes from a 2000 Xterra. My secondary cats are currently held together with wire (heat shields rusted off/no codes). It's just a matter of finding some time to dive into these things...lol.
