It's getting to be that time again, so I am looking at tires to find something to fit my needs. I know that the masses will say to get duratrac's or the BF Goodwrench k/o's but those are not really in my price range. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the Wild Country XTR extreme tires? and what are your thoughts. I am currently running wild county xtx sports and I have not had any problems with then besides picking up the stray nail or two; they currently have about 50k i am looking to get another 5k out of them.

here is the best picture of them that i can find

I had good luck with the Wild Country MTX'S on my first gen. Wore evenly and the tread held up great for being a dd primarily on asphalt.

What kind of tread life did you get on the mtx? I have been reading on them and a lot of people were saying they were getting under 20k on them.

I probably had at least 30 on mine when I traded it in. They were probably at half tread. I kept them rotated pretty regularly. Never had an issue with keeping them balanced either.

I might have to get a set of those when I have the cash for trail use.
