T1 was ok.. Not enough transformers but it was sweet to see my old toys come to life.
T2 was a mess.. It's like the movie was wrote by people that had no idea about the history for the toys or comics..
T3 was a little better but the kid / parents formula was wearing out...

I'm scared to see number 4.
I haven't liked how they have handled the series so.. I'll wait to see it on DVD.

Mr Bay knows how to make things blow up but no idea how to make story work.. How he has made 4 of these I'll never know.

My heart was broken with GI Joe too.. Another one if my favorite comics as a kid.. #1 was ****.. #2 sorta fixed one minus they killed all the freaking main heroes.

I he's they are making another so :(

GOTG is going to be sweet.. I know little of the comics yet the feel of the previews is wicked...

You people and your desire for intricate plot lines...

Just accept that its a movie about cars, robots, and explosions. If you wanted a story, go watch the Silver Linings Playbook or something..

You're both on crack Transformers was terrible. Which is saying something because unlike alot of people I know I actually liked the third one. However, the story line made no sense with any of the history of the Transformers. H3ll it barely made sense with the history the first three movies. It wasn't a transformers movie it was a Mark Wahlberg/hot chick movie with cameo appearances by the Transformers. They've been hyping the dinobots to get those of us that remember the original movie interested, then they jack that up barely showed then at all and Grimlock didn't even talk. The part with Megatron was just wrong all together. Brought in some weird autobots that weren't here during the third one, never explained how they got here and still didn't bring in ones people actually know.

Back to the comment about cars, robots, and explosions.

I really don't know what y'all were expecting out of it. I got what I went in for.

Good movie. Not as good as the book (never are), but enjoyable. I hope they do more.

Yeah they did a pretty good job with it. I would definitely like to see some of the other books turned into movies.

I was expecting something along the lines of Transformers 3. Didn't expect it to be a super in depth plot line but at least expected to have some resemblance to an actual story and a small amount of respect and homage to the cartoons I grew up on. If I wanted to watch explosions with basically no plot I would have just went to redbox and gotten the expendables.

It was pointless because they had already introduced so much new material through the film. So why not have a "shawarma" type scene.

yea I guess but then they should have had 2 scenes, one pointless and one that went more in depth on the stuff we learned during the movie

Went and saw Transformers with my son (4 yoa) He loved it. I thought it was pretty good. It was pretty long... my son had to go to the bathroom 2 times during lol but he was getting pretty antsy towards the end of it. Wasn't too surprised with the vulgar language but my son is old enough to know that he is not supposed to say words like that. Overall A+

Went Saturday night to see Fury.

I haven't seen a solid war movie in awhile and this definitely made up for it. There were a lot of issues I had with it in terms of continuity and plausibility, but Fury was definitely a movie I could watch again for the themes and rehash of backstories.

Went and watched Gone Girl. My wife read the back and said it was pretty intense and thought we should give the movie a shot. Definitely worth it, it's a good movie

I've got a Star Wars movie marathon with my cousins set up for the weekend of the release. We've got IMAX assigned seats purchased and everything is good to go. I'm super pumped!
