Bought myself a toy, 2012 xterra x 4x4. Plan on moding it. Whats with the strawberry milk shake? I read that 2012 is immune from the problem. I wana take care of this first. Am I wasting my time to put external cooler on it?

Welcome! The Strawberry Milkshake Of Death (SMOD) was a failure of the transmission cooler in the radiator in the 2005-2011 models. Only a few 2011s were affected with old stock radiators. $150 for a radiator is good peace of mind either way IMO.

As for modifying it, tell us about yourself, what you want to do and your experience level and we'll be more than happy to point you in the right direction. The Nissan community is just about as insane as the British Car guys.

thats some good advice, was just going to flush radiator, about me.... im a 45yo, single father of a soon to be 13yo. We had a 350z that we were going start modifiying together for some bonding time, then the engine failed. We have already picked out some things to put on to the xterra. I have a couple people here at work always bragging about moab. I would love to bring my daughter there by the end of next summer

thanks for the heads up, this game is fairly new for me. ive always been a sports car fan. I feel like im too old for them anymore. Im putting my vacation for that week then. looking forward to it

TGPWS 8: Hope it can only get better.

I like Tim Roth. There have been very few times in the past that I would have recast him. As much Marvel fateugue that exists right now. And I get it. She Hulk is good. Am enjoying. Will watch more.
