All drawers are cut, waiting on my Dado set to cut the finger joints...

What's left is finish the drawers, build the vertical and horizontal wings, paint and mount the mat with tie downs and lastly the electronics...dual battery set up, two relay/fuse boxes, power inverter and most excitingly the OBA set up

Trying to figure the tool layout for the tool drawer

Getting closer to adding some lights, and the Dual Battery,

In the drawer system I have a 15" x 17" area allocated for the boxes and Aux battery. I decided to go that route simply for ease of access...fold down the 40 Rear seat and will have full access.

SO here's my rough wiring diagram with the products being used

Busy weekend (I hope) going to replace two new (crappy apparently) cam sensors, grabbed an endoscope to help with the job, The Beast has been out of commission for a week now, and hoping to get my drawers built so I can prep for paint> I generally only have one day on a weekend to work on the truck so this drawer project is taking FOREVER...I cold have gone with simple butt joints but I want it Solid so finger joints will be the route for the drawers

So another lesson learned do go cheap on Dadoes, tried to make my finger joints for the drawers but the cheapo dado would not cut smooth or even, new dado set incoming by EOW, but did install my new Overland Bound badge OB Badge.JPG

I have ordered my carbon fiber wrap for the console, that should arrive in a couple weeks, that gives me time to pre-wire the rockers and relay box, need to re-cut the floor of the drawer system...

I am going to be going crazy over one weekend as the drawer system is to house the second battery and daul bat set up, all the lights will run off of that, so one weekend daul bat, all 4 lights, horn and rear view mirror...

I am planning on it, this has been in the works for ages but I am 99% that this is the final config. I think the wrap should look good too...I am debating on something that could look cool...just working out the details

Essentially I have a couple larger spots on the side that I was originally thinking of putting the Nissan emblem from the center cap, one on each side...taking that one step further I am now thinking of cutting a hole the same diameter as the emblem and fill said hole with clear resin and back light it....that may be overboard
