Well that sucks. Glad you're relatively okay and the bike is good. Be careful with the meds bro, dangerous crap. I’ve become a fair weather rider and put the bike away after the first frost. I doubt it will see the sun again until late spring.

    Hope you heal quickly.

Thanks guys. Yeah, the meds just make me pretty sleepy so can't exactly go work let alone drive. Just gonna take it easy the next week or so and hopefully be able to do some work over the next few days. Upon closer inspection I did end up with very small amount of damage to the headlight surround, but the part is pretty cheap so no worries

I hope I can get back on in the next 2-3 weeks and at least put around.

I do have some minor aftermarket goodies coming in for the grom so I guess that will be my project next week to keep me busy.

Shoulder is feeling alot better since my accident and I am back to work. Had checkup with doctor this last week and she still suggests surgery for as bad as I tore my labram up. Gonna continue therapy and hopefully let it heal on its own. Next checkup is in July and decide on surgery from there.

Been riding the grom as much as I could the last couple months as well. Finally have good weather so decided to get some stuff done. Changed the oil, installed magnetic drain plug to help pull the inpurities between oil changes, and all gassed up for this next week.

Installed a new shifter the other night. It folds so it doesnt break or bend as easy. Main attraction to it was that it connected directly to the transmission shaft and didnt use a goofy linkage setup. So far it feels great, little tricky to get into neutral but I just need to get used to it.

    Long time no update...

Really havent done much with the Grom until lately. Just been riding it to and from work putting on the miles. Today I did however make some changes!!

Enter in some Rigid LED light pods! I won these in a raffle and decided why not put them on the Grom? I don't ride at night really often because the factory headlight is trash and being so low to the ground you don't get alot of light output. These however have changed my mind. Holy F@CK what a difference!!

I went and bought a dremel just so I could do this little job. Basically I drilled a small hole just large enough to fit this round switch in there. Its a little more professional looking than just having the switch zip tied to the cables.

Ordered a set of handguards for a dirtbike/atv and installed those last night. Gives the front end a little cleaner look and will protect my levers from a drop 106F7E3E-2DDB-4755-9177-E54C154C2F32.jpeg
