Hello all.
I'm on my second X, it's a 2012 Pro 4X. Bought it new and now it has about 150k miles on it and still going strong. Not too many mods. I got rear ended when it was still new so I put a Shrockworks tire carrier bumper on. I use KM2, and now KM3 tires, and the rear breather extension. For most of the last 10 years I haven't really had friends that were interested in the off road thing but recently a couple of them have gotten 4wds so I've been going out on the trails, and now my list of planned upgrades is growing. It's in the shop right now getting a new clutch and since the suspension is aging anyway I see a lift in my near future. Looking forward to reading about all the fun stuff you guys are doing with your trucks.

I don't really have a great picture, this is from a couple weeks ago I was out on the Georgia Traverse trail with a couple buddys.

Overall I love the shrok rear bumper. I hated having the spare under the truck. I do have a couple things I would change about it if I could. I wish there was a way to hold it in the open position, because if you're on an incline at all it will swing over in your way. I wish they offered an option with a gas can carrier as well. If I was buying one today I would look at coastal offroad. They make a kit that replaces the two plastic corner pieces too, it is a dual swing with tire and can carriers, and I think they even offer it in aluminum to keep weight down. The only drawback is that it's a kit you have to weld, or have welded yourself.

I'll have to get some better pictures to show off soon!

F.Y.I. Once you've been bitten by the mod bug there is no vaccine or cure . Empty wallet's/checking account's and ton's of empty beer bottle's while wrenching with your buddie's and the occasional divorce are a few of the known symptom's. ;)

ENJOY !!

The divorce part is easily solved. Get the wife to drive, and make her understand why the mods are "necessary".

Problem solved!

Also, welcome from the potato state!
