On my recently acquired 02 I noticed that when turning on right signal lights my dash lights would flicker( head lights on). Now it has progressed to signal lights in both directions are intermittent, or flash once, and quit flashing all together. I have had issues like this with my Jeeps, and replacing the Head light/signal/ dimmer multi function switch would cure gremlins like this. 4 ways seem to function fine, so is this switch on it’s way out?

I'd say either the cluster or the stalk needs replacing.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the stalk. They have been known to fail.

I had issue with my intermittent wiper switch, pulled the stock and found one of the wires was broken. Patched it and all is well again.

Signal flasher. But it has a new stalk as well now.
