Need Bigger Tires
A few of these places are super paranoid because it can be massive fines if caught. And the 'mystery shoppers' like to be jerks about it and over-enforce. Like, policy when I was selling video games was to decline R-rated sales to people who said they were buying it for a younger sibling or kid. Even if the purchaser was of legit age. We could sell to them as long as they said nothing...

Leatherman Charge+ G10.

Has scissors and the blade is S30V. Seems like a good choice for me. Not sure I'll like the fold-out pliers VS the Gerber slide-out, but I found a good deal and can probably get my money back if I don't like it.
Love my leatherman. And infind i can put more pressure on the pliers without feeling like something is going to let go

Leatherman came out with a cool looking sheath. I have a sheap amazon knock off that looks similar.

i would really love to justify owning a sheath from Tale of knives though it they are a bit spendy

I could also try to make my own that is similar I guess

I miss my Launch 2. And they're discontinued. If I could find a used one online I'd buy it. Looks like the replacement is the Launch 6. But nobody is making partially serrated autos anymore?! Wtf is up?!

Oh I like that. How heavy is it? My leatherman is old old and i probably need an upgrade.
It's a little heavier than my MP600. I'll try to weigh them both this evening and see.

So far I really like them. Still not as handy as sliding the jaws out, but I'm getting used to them.

Been a hot second since I've been on the forum. I got back into blades a couple of years ago and it kind of spiraled after that. I lean toward BMs but have a diverse collection. I also just ordered my first Off Grid knife, we'll see how that turns out.

I'll have to scroll back through this thread to see what all has been talked about in here.

I'm not sure if you guys are into "custom" knives but I figure I'll put this out here.

Mark Campana is a long time Xterra/ECXC friend. Back when he owned an Xterra he attended and then started supporting the ECXC event. He's a great guy that makes and restores some really cool stuff.

You can check him, his products and service at

I so wish that I could order a few of the knives but it’s too risky importing it into Canada

I'm looking for the best edc with a blade at or under 2.5 inches to fit in the fifth pocket for less than $200.
What do you like? And why?
