Hey @TerryD if you were gonna get another Xancudo, would you want the carabiner hole in the scales?

Is it just the scales making the hole or is it the shank design?

It fits well on the side. I can't figure out what I like better for EDC, the Izula II or the CR2.5.. We'll see.

@TerryD do you have a JG3? It resembles the style of one I've used for years and I'd like to add it to the Esee collection of EDC options.

I don't. It and the 5 never held much interest for me.

I've been carrying my Izula 2 recently and honestly I still prefer the CR2.5 or Xancudo for EDC. I like the blade shapes and profiles better for an everyday blade than the Izula.

Sorry, I saw it but forgot to reply.

The hole is in the knife with either set of scales. It makes it easy to pull from my pocket sheath and doesn't hinder the usage of the knife.

Just buy it using a credit card that you don't have to pay off until after Oct 1. That way, it doesn't count as a purchase this month...

Option 2, does the quota increase if you sell a knife? Do you necessarily need all your table or butter knives????
I broke the habit of using credit 10yo and now can't bring myself to use em, I just don't get rid of the cpl I have for emergencies. Selling off a knife or two won't work as everything I've got I'm either not willing to part with or it's too insignificant money wise to deal with trying to sale.. I'll just wait, SMKW has Esee on sale quite a bit.

I don't usually have them on my knives but I've got a few recently that sit deep in the sheath and now I think they'd come in useful on those two at least..

@Xterrorista what colours where you thinking for a lanyard?
Nice work!
I was actually thinking about OD and black with short weave ending in a monkeys fist. I really dig what you have going on with your 4, I'd want mine a little smaller tho.

Is that something a noob could learn without much frustration?

If I may make this recommendation

end it with a lanyard knot. That way it will meld both colours your using a lot easier than a monkeys fist. That or a globe know but that one is a bit harder to accomplish. And will look better IMHO. Unless you make 2 monkeys fists ( one of each colours) but that would only look like your adding a set of balls to your blade

as for a short weave not sure exactly what knot your referring to. I would recomend a simple snake knot like this one

Right on, I'll watch some vids and try it out with some cord I got with a knife from Terry. I was thinking about using multi colored cord vs two diff colors.

Well let me know if you need a hand. Or need to bounce something off of somebody. I will be on exercise starting next Sunday but will be within cell crevice in the evenings
