I think I need that knife
For $25, I'm ok with it. The action is a little stiff. I think I'm going to look into relieving some of the pressure from the linerlock. Possibly disassemble it and remove the power coating from the lock surfaces to smooth it up some too.

That looks nice - can’t tell for sure from the pic, is it a folder or fixed?
It's a big fixed blade. The 6 is a nice sized blade for utility work around camp. I have an ESEE 6 and the predecessor, the RAT-7 by OKC. I really like them both for heavy chopping work.

@TerryD thanks for tagging me in that post. But thats for the 6HM. Thinking of the CM6. And with cost of shopping and exchange it will come to pretty much the same price as a new one from here in Canada

This is my second Gerber, first one lasted over 20 years. Till I used it for Removing a Bung Plug in Jet-A fuel Barrell for Helo Refueling, broke the Pliers nose. Ugh.. Sent it to Gerber.. 2 week's later had New one, with New Sheath. Did not like the New sheath. Using the Old broke-in one.. Still has many years remaining. I do miss the Ruler on my last one.. Might have to take a File and modify this one.
Amazing how useful they are for Many applications.

I’ve carried this almost every day since it was gifted to me in 2014. Looking to add another without serration. Either this size or a little smaller I think. I’ll probably stick with Benchmade since this one has held up so well, but could be convinced to switch.
Any recommendations?

I only own 2 Benchmade. 1 bugout and one of their Later models rescue cutters. Love the tescue tool. Not 100% a fan of the the bugout. But havent really given it a chance yet either. I am a big fan of kershaws as well a leatherman and esee.

I feel like the full size Bugout is the perfect "tactical" style folder. Idon't have large hands and i think the Mini would be too small to be effective for some tasks. I've had one of their Griptillians, two Freeks, and a Northfork. I also have a Kershaw Blur and several other folders in that category and the Bugout is my favorite. I got it used from a FB group for a really good price so it's beater status.

This week, when I'm not at work, I've been carrying a SAK Climber paired with my Izula. That's been a nice pair if you don't mind doubling up.
