I'm trying to decide if I want to use mine for backup lights or side lights. I'm leaning towards backup since backing between trees at night with tinted windows isn't entirely safe. Whatever I decide I have small halogen lights to use for the other.

Yep, still don't know what to do with mine. I thought about alley lights, but I don't really NEED them there...but I'd like to have them......then I thought about that bar across the front bumper.....then I thought about making reverse lights.........then I thought about just a traditional roof rack mount to the front.....

I DON'T KNOWWWWWWWWWWW

I wouldn't use the mini floods for front fired roof light. All they're going to do is wash on the hood. If you want front light put them in the grill.

I think this is what I'm going with. Overlook the ghetto hose clamp attachment. It's temporary to make sure I like them there before drilling holes.

Sounds good. Remember relays...it's all about the relays. I love them. I have my roof lights wired with two switches in the little places under the HVAC controls, next to the power outlet. It looked like something should have been there anyway. The 4" lights in the bumper use the factory fog light switch but modded so they will come on with parking lights instead of only being able to have them on with low beam headlights. The Hellas on the bumper come on with high beam headlights. The LEDs on the rear currently come one when I put it in reverse along with the backup lights but I'll be wiring in a two relay setup so I can have them off, on with the backup lights or on independently with a separate switch.

Well....crapnugget. I just heard back from China. There was a production problem. They had a quality control issue that had to be fixed before they could ship my order. The lights are supposed to ship "today." Current local time is 11:27AM Wednesday. So they'll ship out while we sleep.

I guess that's a good thing though....that they have quality control.

This is exactly where I wanted to put some if I had the money for them. I bought some mounting plates from Tim at NXM2 for reverse lights, I can't remember who makes them, but I can't wait to put lights on them.

Yeah. I just finished the wiring on the B&M bar this weekend. Hopefully this week I'll be drilling a hole in the roof and hooking them up.

Assuming that you get them in this week, please hold mine until thursday of next week to ship them, as I'll not be around to receive them...

Would you mind re-posting the pic of the bar mounted up? I want to see what the mounting equipment looks like to know what I have to do to get it to mount on my bumper. Thanks!
