Key Fobs Quit Working:

Today my main key fob stopped working and my spare won't work either now. I can only operate my interior door locks now but only if the engine is running. My positive battery lead was giving me alot of trouble until I changed it but the problem still persists. Could the bad battery lead have anything to do with this since the electric was cycled off so many times? Anyone else? 01 First generation.

Have you tried resyncing them with your rig?

Problem solved!! Neither of my fuse boxes (under hood and interior) indicated door locks so I started pulling fuses from the interior box and the 7.5 amp fuse for (room lamp) aka interior light was the culprit. I have my interior lights turned off manually and don't use them so I didn't notice them being off. My mechanic (via text msgs) couldn't solve the riddle either. I hope others learn from my idiocy...
