Just started my 06 build. Just wonder what mods people recommend 1st. Already gave 4" lift and 33's but that's it for now. I was thinking a snorkel kit, what does everyone think?

It's primarily off road, road legal bit building for primarily off road

My GF thinks the snorkel looks badda$$ but for me it is "meh", considering that our alternators aren't sealed and waterproof.

I say get skids, sliders, and do basic maintenance and see what the vehicle is capable of in "stock" condition, then do mods.

Is yours an automatic transmission ? If so - I should be the first to mention - check your radiator - for the possibility of SMOD.
It happens to guys who get their hands on an 06-09 Xterra and it is extremely pricey to fix !

6 speed manual, which sounds fortunate for me
