This is my Big Baller Xterra Hauler.... and daily. picked her up on the 24th of last month. 2011 F-150 Ecobeast. 58k, 3.73 rear end, trailer brake controller, 4x4, payload package and will tow 11,500lbs. got a pretty kick ass warranty for her too, 3 year/ 50,000 miles bumper to bumper. truck is from Quebec and is 90% rust free on the underside. she needs a name too, something french.

not sure if I'll need to buy air bags after i get the trailer ready and go for a test tow before went.

Truck looks good. That bumper gap in the fourth pic needs addressed though.

finally was able to disable my trucks daytime running lamps. seeing that the truck is from Canada they have a law for mandatory daytime running lamps (DRLs for short). so this was actually a huge pain in the ass on my generation of truck since they no longer had an actual physical piece i could unplug like the 08 and older models, its all in the BCM itself. i had read that a ford dealer could do from a couple f150 forums. well my dealer couldn't.... idiots.
they looked at me like i had two heads. "no no, you see the truck is from Canada and they have a DRL law that you can just turn the switch to off, THERE IS NO FRICKING OFF SWITCH THATS WHY IM F**KING HERE!". so yeah, they where idiots cuz i just did it in my driveway for the price of a USB to ODBII dongle. here is a LINK to the how to on what i did.

    late post is late

well after the 1200 mile round trip last year for Went, the ford did great and is still doing so. nothing really special is planned for this thing, but the 12 year old in me says to lift it and bigger tires. i try to not listen to that damn child....
also if you were at Went you know that i won a cvt tent there.

yeah that bed rack is pretty high, but it was cheap. i plan on getting a much lower one made in the future.

Just cut off some of the veritcal tube from the rack and then weld them together and touch up with paint.
