I heard all the cool kids are here, so I had to stop in too

I bought this truck new in 2005 for my wife to drive when my son was born, after 70k miles we bought her an Altima, and I decided to keep it for myself, since the dealer had just put a new trans in it(SMOD!). I heard you could fit 33's with a simple spacer lift, and down the rabbit hole I went! As you can see, I've added a few mod's over the years...........

Here's a recent mod I did. I cut a big hole in my hood and covered it with a vent meant for a wrangler. Pics are pretty self explanatory, as for function, not sure how much it helped, but can definately see heat escaping. Wheeled all day in high 90s-100, and temps stayed low. Plus chicks dig it, I'd call that a win/win.

Yeah, but the chick that matters, my wife, isn't such a big fan lol

Is it because of the color difference? I tend to have a similar issue, ill do something that is cool and halfway functional and my partner is like "why?, It's ugly now?". Anyhow I'd be interested to know if it does decrease engine bay heat at all. Someone should take a wireless grill temp monitor and do a before and after

Can we talk about your brake setup? I've got both Titan axles sitting in the garage waiting for gears and brakes.

I've been told by many that the only way to get the brakes to work correctly is to get all of the brake parts from the Titan. Booster, M/C, ABS pump, etc.

What was your mileage on that? I'm planning to do it all but I want to find out what others have done.

Have you talked to Bill?

Its a prototype version of the Bob's kit, but unlike Jeff D. and Josh, Im also running the Titan knuckles and 320mm brakes. Night and day difference! Rear i just have adapters. Another benefit is the angle on the TREs is better, more clearance between the tires and the top of the spindle

Welcome to the hood mod club! I see you got rid of that ugly spyder as well! Nice Granite Metallic by the way!

So I decided the X was ready for a make over. Started the bodywork to get ready to roll on the Monstaliner, hopefully next weekend. I fixed the left fender a few months ago, but now started all the other dents around the X. Pretty much the only panel that didn't need any work were the roof and the LF door. And yes. I cut out the rear quarters and doors a lil bit
