When did they update it? Or, which phone, because I spent hours digging about a month ago on the 822 and 928 for something that had radar "in motion" for a guy...
Regardless, comparing, one weather app, whose accuracy depends on your opinion, vs over 5400 on iOS, probably close to the same on android ranging from severe weather warning, weather radio, radar, informative and detailed, to lightweight bare bones and pretty, the whole spectrum is there...
Stock camera doesn't cut it for you? That's fine, there are over 14,000 results for "camera" in the App Store.
In the end, WP8 is a software in its infancy, that doesn't get any love from very many people at all...which, honestly, is a shame, I **love** the way it works, it's simple, idiot proof, and, on the whole, took everything that apple did right with iOS and Microsoft put their own spin on it. The problem truly is getting developers to do anything with it. An app for iOS can easily be ported to android, which simultaneously ports to BB10, but, WP8 is much more work, requiring a complete rewrite.
Don't mistake my obvious disagreement that your WP8 phone can hang with iOS and Android as dislike of the system, or being a fanboy, I'm a very techy person, and spent a lot of time contemplating replacing my bb9550 with a 928, but, in the end, the WP8 phone can't do anything that my ancient blackberry can't, is as hard as an iPhone to manage media on (unlike android or blackberry) and, it simply doesn't draw me in, like other OS's can. For the people that like it, it's great, for everyone else.....not even a second glance.
The common opinion at the store on the 1020 was "awesome! 41MP camera! ****, it's a windows phone, if we get it, it'll be another high return rate phone"...
Just saying.
Now, back to iOS since that's what the thread is for...
