@kirk What pic? I don't see it, If you do, it came with a link to TNX and we gotta fix it.

There should't be any pictures in this thread at all, yet.

Edit: Now for some reason I do see it. And, it doesn't look to me like it linked to TNX.

And yes, as for as I'm concerned you can use it. I'd ask Dave though.

Entirely up to you. I just sometimes have grabbed "eye catching" pics to use on our FB page to attempt to drive more traffic here, and to show off someones rig. Completely optional.

Excellent pics btw, and I said it before but glad you came over.

Thank you, and thank you it really is good to be here. Use whatever pics you want. Except the Dan Taber one. I'll post up more..... Truck porn is about all I got right now.

How are the longer springs working out? I wish I had gone with 600lb springs on my 2.5 rads instead of 650lbs. The way radflo puts those springs on they have lots of pre-load.....more than they should IMO. The FJ springs I had with the tundra struts (636lb springs) were not as pre-loaded and rode better. Tires look good!

Still feels weird looking at build threads I was sub'd to on another site...

Got any free time in mid to late September?

Loaded question.... lol

650 13” springs are the way they should come IMO. I have the remote res shocks though, do you?.... because they are different.... the non remote res are longer.... further eibach doesn’t make a 13” Spring.

They really are different animals.

Heading to Ouray in a couple weeks, I’ll report back on tire performance.

Ya I have the non-2.5 remote res. I was on the fence about them but couldn't justify the extra cost. So happy with the icon solution then?

I'm planning on being in Ouray mid-September, couple weeks too late.

As I said, I think that’s the way the 2.5 remote res should come, they are so much better.

Ya, mid September may be late, but given the fact that many of the trails have suffered damage this year and still aren’t open who knows. Mid August it can snow and close them..., it’s a very short season. The beauty is unequaled though. It’s just so damn amazing.

I thought you were duratrac for life! Like the change. Man, seems like you go through tires fast. That you just got new ones 2 years ago. Also interested in the Generals performance. I have heard they are bitchin'.

Negative on going through tires fast. Original Xterra Duratracs are on the Trailer, Trailer original Duratracs are/were on the X. Both were purchased new in early 2015. Tires on the trailer are still fine, although 4.5 years old.

I honestly love the Duratracs, but because they are so good at rocks, snow, and ice, that makes them chunk. Mine were so chunked, they could no longer be balanced, and therefore got worn very unevenly to the point of out of round. I still had approximately 9/32 or 1/2 of the tread left on parts of the tire, but was worn down to the wear bars between the lugs on other parts.

I will say this, the new tire seem to have balanced well, because there are very few balance weights stuck on the rim..... we'll see. So far I have about 6 miles on them.

@PhullD If you need or want a set of 600 lb 12" Eibach springs (I think that's the length you're running) I have a set sitting in my garage you can have for the cost of Shipping. I used them for 1 year. Their free length still measures 12"

Ended up going with Non-res 700# springs on my T-swap Radflos. I'm already making plans to do a coilbucket delete in the next year or so with an 8" Radflo or Fox remote res.

Your X looks great! I need to get on your level :)

p.s. the extra wheel you sold me a few years back went to good home in Indianapolis!

That's a kind offer, but I'm not sure if it is worth the hassle to swap them at this point. With the tent up there now the higher rating is good when the truck is loaded up. When it becomes more of a weekend wheeler I'll probably swap out for the remote res springs and sell these. Definitely gonna go with the icon springs haha!

Damit! They would look so much better in your garage than in mine....

I misread that printout at first to read 2.9 degrees positive camber haha. I was about to ask isn't that a bit much? That caster and toe on the before chart must have made for an interesting drive.

It was crap for sure.... Not sure how it got so far out, because those are definitely not the numbers it was set at last time..... which wasn't all that long ago.

I have the same problem with the passenger side wheel...to the point that I keep the two wrenches to adjust toe under rear passenger floor carpet. When I start to feel a pull I'll just adjust the toe in maybe an 1/8" of a turn and that usually takes care of it.

So.... I'm going back to Duratracs.

The General Grabber X3's are not for me. On road handling is garbage, feels like I'm driving on 15 psi all the time. Freeway speed, they wander all over, and it feels like if I had to make an evasive maneuver I'd roll it. Steering is like I'm driving a marshmallow..... And all this at 42 PSI.

Had Discount order the Duratracs, and I'll have them on before Ouray next weekend. Only paying to have the mounting done, and the cost difference in tires.

That's what I get for trying something new I guess..... They're probably awesome offroad.

Lame,..... Just Lame.
