I Know It's A Long Shot...

I know it's a long shot... A really long shot. But I've often been curious as to what happened to my first Xterra. I had so many good times and memories in that rig. I drove it from literally the end of the road in Homer, AK to North Carolina and back. I drove the Alaskan Highway in it a few times, took the Ferry from Haines to Bellingham, WA in it, explored AK for a few years in it, Moved from North Pole AK to Colorado Springs towing a trailer down the Al-Can Highway. I slept in it for a month in CO when my unit (Army) did some awesome "Training". That truck was amazing, and is the only vehicle I've ever regretted letting go. I'm just curious as to what kind of life that truck has had since I let her go.

I traded it in back in 2011 at Perkins Motors in Colorado Springs. By chance, does anyone on here have any info about this truck?

About my old truck:
2005 Xterra S
65,000 miles (approximately) when I traded it in.
Desert Stone Paint
Shrockworks sliders
BFG KO's 265/75/16
Automatic trans
Optima Yellow Top
Factory Tow package
Arctic Heater pads on the oil pan and Transmission pan
Undercoat
It had a dent (Worlds largest door ding) on the left rear fender flare right in front of the fuel door. This dent ran vertical from the wheel arch to the top of the flare.

Anyone else ever wonder what happened to that one vehicle that you regret getting rid of?

In fact I've seen my poor Cherokee a few years after I parted with it. Front springs broken down, mismatched wheels, broken header panel and it made me sad to see it in that condition after all the good times we had together and all the miles we covered.

I can't help with your Xterra but maybe you can locate it. I hope it's still out there.

I'll take a look. I know the Alaska plate number, FER 733, but not sure on the Colorado plate number ( I don't know if I registered it in CO since I was there on military orders).
