Put it into a tree at 50mph.
I wonder the reality of making this road worthy again.
SAS opportunity?
Front clip from another X?
What are your thoughts?

Wow! I hope you're ok.

That looks like a lot to contend with, plus it looks like there's possible frame damage. Even if your dad is a TV repairman with an awesome set of tools, I don't think you can fix that.

Good luck with whichever way you go, and I do hope you're ok!

That has to be one of the best references I've seen in awhile - Had to be said

Back on topic - Based off of the pics I'm going to guess the frame rail is bent and even if it isn't for what the repair would cost you could pick up another X. Hope you're in better shape than the car.

yikes! Yeah, you might could hack that up into an off road buggy of some sort, but I'd guess its days of crawling the malls are done.

Glad you are okay!

Thanks all, I'm somehow okay.
Anyone know how I can restore power to it?
Once I pull the radiator and such off the engine I'd like to see if it starts.
I recently did a compression test of the 4 cylinders I could get at and it was 160-165. If the engine is good, someone might want it along with the 5mt.
I imagine there is an inertia switch that I triggered somewhere?

You'll have to make sure no harnesses are damaged and apply power through the cables like usual. Probably have to do a good bit of cutting to get it all opened back up.

Wow! I'm glad you're OK!

Unfortunately that looks like a parts salvage at this point. Be nice to it tho. It definitely took care of you.
