When I'm getting gear in and out of my 2005 S, with the engine off and key out, it will lock by itself after a few minutes. Looked thru a few links and other sites but didn't see how to turn this feature OFF.

(This is not the auto-lock feature when moving above 15 mph, or it's twin auto-unlock. This happens with key out but doors closed.)

Turn key to ON. Press and hold door UNLOCK on drivers door until the hazards blink twice.

Huh. Never knew they did that. Mine doesn’t auto lock. We leave it unlocked in the garage.
Mine’s a 2015 and if I unlock with the button on the fob but then don’t open a door within a couple minutes it does re-lock. But once I open a door it doesn’t do it. When I’m about to load stuff I hit unlock and then just open and shut a door real quick so I know it will stay unlocked.

It took about three different time's to realize it auto lock's because I would hit unlock on the fob then put the key's down in the house and walk out to the X and it would be locked when I got there . Only till I herd it lock while reaching for the door handle did I figure it out . I just thought the fob was dying or I didn't hit the button good . I will disable today !!

Worked for me! I had to do it twice...First time, turn the key on, hold the unlock and the lights blinked once. Then I turned the key off, then on, held the unlock and the lights blinked twice. Rapidly. And it's stayed unlocked ever since. It does take longer than you'd expect for the lights to blink.

Ok, thanks for the tip, I'll try it again.
