I just made my first hi lift mod and will post pictures when I can. What I did was after loosing a handle to some moron that pulled the pin and took off with it I drilled a hole in my new handle and used a locking pin for trailer couplers

This way the handle is still easy to remove but you have to have the key. I am also looking at making a base that will have teeth on the bottom for se in the ice as we have about 3 months a year where the ice never fully melts. Have you made any special atachments for your hi lift? Let's share some ideas and get everyone home safe.
