HI ya'll !!

Just bought a 2005 with 193,000 miles. Previous owner had replaced the radiator in 2011 so hopefully no SMOD problem. Never really considered an X before, just found this one locally while looking for something to tow a small boat. Hope to learn a lot about my new favorite toy, and share some ideas once I get into customizing it.

Been living here in central Florida for 30+ years. Enjoy sailing, kayaking, all kinds of boating, camping, occasional fishing, and just hanging at the beach. Also play around with computers, especially Panasonic Toughbooks. About to retire from a career supporting the military, NASA, and aerospace companies.

Looking forward to making new friends!

Don't be afraid to ask question's you can't find answer's to in the thread's. :)

Welcome! And congrats on nearing retirement with an awesome vehicle to help you enjoy all the fun things in life. Since you like kayaking, I'll share the one thing I learned the hard way... I put a 2" lift on and larger tires, and then afterwards realized the struggle to get the kayaks up on the roof. I'm a tall guy, but especially after coming off the water and tired, it takes an amount of effort I will probably barely have in 5 years, and certainly won't by retirement age haha.
