Help identifying this circuit

I have a short somewhere that keeps blowing the 10A meter fuse as soon as the key is turned to accessory position. I wanted to rule out all the components before I decide to start digging into the wire harness but I'm not sure what some of the abbreviations mean on this diagram. Anyone know what these mean? I know ones like the backup light and speed sensor but not sure about others. This is a 2001 xterra.

First two letters refer to the section of the fsm. Engine control, transmission, brakes, starting/charging, electrical. Once in the correct section, the next bit should become clearer

Swinging back to this since I have some time to stare and I'm not in a car...

That fuse shouldn't be energized in the ACC position. Above it in the diagram you see the key ON/ST positions energizing the coil of the ignition relay, which then causes fuse 11 to be energized via the NO contacts of the relay. Double check your failure mode, then let us know if your MT or AT, as that can make a difference.

To clarify a little more on my above answer, EL-WARN (for example) refers to the warning lamp wiring diagram. Open up the Electrical section (EL) and look in the TOC for the WARN diagram.

Thanks for the reply! My bad. You are correct. It is energized in the on/start position. Also it is an automatic. I can post the manual I am referencing if you'd like to see the whole thing. I haven't gotten very far with this. I've identified off the back of the fuse block which wire on that circuit has the short. But it looks like it goes out to a lot of different components according to the manual. I de-pinned it from the connector and was able to turn the car on without blowing the fuse but that wire powers so much stuff it didn't point me anywhere specific.

OK, thanks for the clarification. Check your reverse lights, make sure the doors are closed, and, yeah, be prepared to check several dozen things. I'll dig a bit further and see if anything else pops up.

Any custom wiring done? Alarm systems?

I haven't had much time to get on here but just a follow up. I ended up finding the short. The wire harness that goes down to the 4wd switch was rubbing on a heat shield. I repaired the wire and re routed the harness and secured it better. Problem fixed. Thank you all for your input!
