Don't worry, Dave... there will be plenty of moonshine left by Wednesday. I've heard that if you drink enough of it, Katie will escort/carry you to your bed, prop up your head and place a small trash can nearby in case the spins get the best of you.

That's what I call event support!

Another example of the community rocking. I was thinking my X's clutch was near the end of its life, so I actually pre-ordered the parts from Boulder Nissan and had them shipped to me. Then, on the trip out here, I started to think it was acting funny. When I was driving around in Manitou Springs, it started to slip a bit when cold. After I got off the mountain, I called Boulder Nissan - the Friday before Moab and at 1pm - to see if they could get me in and replace the clutch. They had a guy stay late and get in early to get me set up.

I pick up the X in about an hour or so.

On top of that, Bill has a friend who just opened a hotel here in town. He called her and she set me up with a nice rate (great hotel, Hampton Inn here in Boulder) and now he's coming to pick me up so I can get the X back. Then I drive to Moab.

Winning.

Boulder Nissan and the Colorado crew will treat you right! BTW - don't be surprised when you get your truck and it is covered in Boulder Nissan, Boulder Ironworx, and NissTec decals. :)

Nissan missed in 2012, but was there in '09, '10, and '11. Not sure about previous GONE's. Sounds like a different group from Nissan this year, more of a regional corporate presence. I really liked the marketing guys Chris and Dan from '13. They brought hats. :)

They came to many gones before that. They used to bring swag in addition to buying dinner. We got a Xterra backpack in 2003 and they brought a 2nd gen rolling chassis in 2004. They used to send demo trucks headed to the crusher that they allowed their reps to bang around on the trails. I remember a Titan getting trashed.

^yep! It is the tool of shame for trails I am on. If you break or shame yourself, you get it mounted on your truck. :)

Seeing those ledge pics made me sad, my Jeep didn't even lift a tire going down it.

Here is possibly the most painful viewing of trying to go up Wipeout Hill ever:

care of me. First time off roading on my "new" (to me) Jeep that I just learned to drive 2mo ago. Yup. I bought it not knowing how to drive it. And now look, I took it to Moab. :)
