I don't even know what this means... since this will be the first time I'm going out I pretty much just picked the trails based on their names and a little description on the GONE forum. I'll probably stick to 5s and 6s this year since I won't really have much more than a couple months experience with the new setup.

Ahhh...hells=hells revenge. The gate=hells gate. Hells revenge is about a 4-5, iconic slick rock trail not hard on rigs but some pretty good pucker factor here and there. Hells gate is an optional obstacle that consists of a tricky decent and then a climb out on slick rock with a pucker factor off the charts. Do some YouTube searches for goneMOAB and hells gate. It's way more intimidating in person...

I've read through old stories about the skull whilst studying Moab threads of times past... But I'm not one to back away from a challenge. I would bring booze as well if I visited the condo, wouldn't be fair to sip from the skull without a sacrifice of my own.

Is anyone interested in staying out at Area BFE? So far I know me and zukrider over on the GONEMoab forum will be staying out there and it'd be pretty cool if we could get a nice group out there. I just gotta figure out where I am going to shower. We are looking at possibly doing some trail runs out at BFE if we get done with the GONE trails at a decent time. So if anyone else is interested, let me know!

I heard you could rent a shower there in town. Maybe I'll take a good shower every night, join y'all for a couple beers and then head back to BFE.

I have a portable propane hot shower and enclosure if you want to use it...a couple of 1 lb. cylinders and about 5 gallons of water/person/day will give you a great shower each morning.
