Copied from the goneMOAB Trail Leaders/Volunteer section:

Looks like another great year of registrations shaping up for goneMOAB13!

The question has been asked as to what the trail number limits are....well...I will be holding a 25 truck limit to all trails this year.

We may make some exceptions based upon experience of the group/trail rating, but sticking to this number makes for a very manageable group on the trail.

Wait lists will be confirmed based upon the time you registered for the event through Eventbrite...if it comes to that.

Please understand that we will make every attempt to accommodate everyone on the trails, however safety and time on the trail are the stronger considerations. Also, there are many trails to choose from this year, with multiple runs of the favorites. Naturally, who is on the trail figures into some decisions, so some trails will fill out based upon multiple levels of popularity.

So...the number is 25 per trail for those asking.

PM me if you have questions.

Correct Mel and Sean...Poison Spider Mesa has TWO spots left.

The only other trail is Fins N Things on Monday, which is at 20 vehicles.

I'd like to add...there is plenty of room on other great trails on Friday, and running a trail with 6-10 trucks is really a GREAT way to see Moab.

Trust me when I tell you...Porcupine Rim trail is "The Sleeper" trail on Friday...

So...what's the trail limit?

...

KIDDING!

And you are right, a trail with fewer rigs is a blast. Last year, my fave was Flatiron mesa, we ran it with about 10 as I recall, including three canadians (yes, it matters!)

We had a boatload of rigs on Top of the World, and it was a lot of sitting around
