^Winning! Yes sir, I do believe our entire condo inhabitants will be at your place for libations and tooling time! Wooo!

Ok, I'll camp out for a night and grocery shop and do misc crap Sat-Sun. :) My friend who is staying with me won't be in till Sun as well. Any alcoholic recommendations or Idaho-specialty foods (giggle, like we have any....:p)?

Well I picked up a new screw to hold the ground in and couldn't get it to tighten down to hold the ground in place so I used the nut and tightened it down and now ive got a reading of over 10 back to drawing board. Ef!

Yeah I'm brining mine too, I'd really love to figure it out before I leave. Since I'm not bringing my entire garage with me.

I'm bringing an SWR meter with me. Worse case scenario we can work it out Sunday, for both of us...

Ha, I'll probably need to use it, too. My CB is quite finnicky.

Lol hey they are still from Idaho like Mel!

AHAHHA! I'd much prefer the McD's brand of potato. Besides we export most of ours and they only grow in the E/central part of the state, not the W. :p

Well, I THOUGHT I was down to packing and buying booze, after installing my super awesome B&M Lightbars light basket and tuning my CB within an inch of its life...but then I drove around this morning and realized I still have engine interference with my CB. Weird, because when it was idling in my driveway, it was fine. But on the road, whiny staticy noise. WTF?
But anyway, we're days away!

I guess that makes sense...idling it's fine but under load it's not...except even idling at a stoplight today it was still a problem

Just leave it and go pick up the booze. That stuff is like Robitussin... it fixes anything. Have fun out there, hopefully I'll have things together for next years event.

Fixed the ABS line that got melted in two by rubbing on my tire. Forgot to secure it when I redid the swap. Had a "not going to Moab scare"!

Code c1104 isn't your friend but what code is?

Thanks to Allen for trouble shooting this with me over the phone!

Safe travels brother and sister Xers!! Be vigilant! I have already heard of close calls with people being run off the road and cut off.

And take tons of pix or it didn't happen.

Well as it turns out that bolt that was given to me prior to kenny climb, was indeed mine, somehow i managed to rattle loose a bolt from somewhere around my transmission, the bolt wasnt stripped or anything just managed to work its self out. that said after climbing under there today I learned i dented my oil pan in 2 places, and scratched the hell out of my sliders. Thank goodness for those.
So things for next year.....

Better lift.
Full Skid Plates.
ARB Locking Rear Diff
Rear Tire Carrier.

Guess Ill start saving up now.

I'm with Joe on this one. My wish list for Moab next year:

-Complete skid set (engine/t-case)
-ARB rear locker
-Improved suspension, i.e. radflos or icons or some such thing...
-tire adapters for Hi-Lift
-Better recovery points on front
-gopro :)

Mel - not that I'm near the top of the list for qualified wheelers out here, but I managed to get through Kane Creek with not much more than you've got currently. Technically, I'm supposed to have 2" of lift, but I'm not quite sure that's the case. Stock rear and front bumpers (what's left of them...).

I'd say getting the skids and rear locker would be priority.

My Kane Creek experience leads me to believe a rear locker is crucial. 95 percent was no problem, but the climb out of the canyon was brutal with a mix of tight lines, big rocks and loose dirt. Me and the other open diff struggled mightily in the climb out. skids also crucial. I have some nice rash on my engine skid, transfer skid, and gas tank skid from that stretch
