Great, I'm glad someone got a picture of this... This is my dad, who taught me to drive, getting tippy on this. I was trail leading and he was 10-15 cars behind when he got on the CB. After this at camp, he said he liked ATVing better because you can see were your going and decided to ride with me the rest of the week.

I remember this spot last year. The trailer leader (whom I forget, Oregon silv fronty w/ his daughter), got stuck on it for a bit before choosing a better line. It was definitely one of those "dont f- it up when you're going down" moments. It was awesome as I recall hahaha! Nice pics!

That same spot got us on thursday's run, as well as the jeep in front of us (we later learned). This happens when the group gets fairly separated, it's a blind dip and if you don't see the guy in front of you head to the left a bit - you fall victim!!! It's a two-wheel experience for sure. A little weight on the left front and we pulled right out.

Disagree because the briefing at the beginning if the trail; I said that if there are white lines stay in between them. This is all drivers fault IMO. I also said this same thing on the CB!

That spot requires hugging the white line on the left side. It may be MOSTLY driver's fault, but that's one of those places where it pays to give folks, especially inexperienced ones, a reminder. The fact it happened more than one day in the same spot is indicative of the need for special care from the trail leader. Learn something new every time...

Also look at the pics - not a lot of white lines to stay between. As I recall, if you weren't looking ahead to it from the side, you could easily start the decent blind before you saw the white dashes

Nice.

I've been waiting for that one to surface. I count 5 XN peeps... six if you count Luke (I think he was taking the picture).

lol...Me too. I cringed when the front nose hit the ground.

Air bags are usually set to deploy at speeds over ten miles per hour. I doubt that I got over 3 mph after I lost traction.

The impact wasn't as bad as it sounded in the video. I still have the plastic lower bumper section and it isn't fully attached. For some reason the iPhone mic was sensitive to the sound of the plastic slapping the pile of loose rocks at the bottom. From inside the cab, it didn't feel/sound like a frame hit, most of the force was absorbed by the front tires.

There's no way to run that one gracefully; as soon as the front tires drop over the vertical section, it's a white knuckle slide to the bottom. I had a couple of people tell me that I maintained traction longer than the other rigs that day - probably due to brand new tires. Most people hit hard enough to pop their rear tires 12 to 18 inches off the ground. The trail leader ran it first and he hit it so hard that we all thought he was going to pitch his rig over the 40 ft cliff just out of view in the video.

Awesome fun...

Bwahahahahaha, I needed a laugh, Best gen 1......bwahahahahaha. As if. So many better built rigs out there.....for now. :)

As for the one upper comment.....dam, you may have something there. :tears2:

The downside to running 7 psi, you tend to pop beads easier. The up side, I am really good at reseating a bead. :kewl:

Cheers,
Josh
