I have a 2002 xterra xe 2wd that I purchased a little hastily in summer of 13. This silver beauty spent it's life in Charlotte NC for the first 11 years of its life, only accruing 82,000 miles with the middle aged lady who got rid of it only because the headliner was coming down.

So I bought her, took her home. Washed and waxed her, shined the tires and spent the next few months as a typical Greenville NC xterra driver, fully stock and pavement only. (picture A)

Then I came across Xterra Off-Road on Facebook and was pointed to club xterra where I fell in love with the beastie build threads and the mod bug hit.

Did the usual; steps, mudflaps, reso delete. Then I ripped out the headliner and painted it gray. Added Calmini shackles and finished out the pml. Picture B

Then the college kid blues hit and realized I couldn't mod any further. A year later after going to Uwharrie with some buddies, and sucking it up really bad, I decided to go get more money.

In between then and now, I've added Kenda Klever MT's (picture c and d) and flexed 2wd muscle at Uwharrie with NOAS and scrambled up the backside of Daniel Trail. I've purchased various upgrades, like 4wd conversion parts, a lokka, 3" suspension lift with AC UCA'S, a snorkel, and sliders! So the next month and a half is going to be super exciting!

So major setback all by one ****ing bolt. Gigi stripped her passenger side torsion bar adjuster bolt and now she's leaning to one side, and 6 degrees of positive camber..... No WENT for Zach and Gigi this year...

Just an update

Not that anyone looks at my build because I did not keep up with anything, Gigi is Solid axle swapped, just doesn't have a driveshaft fully finished (ujoint and CV joint clearance issues) RLC front bumper added from Gareth before Gruene disappeared. One day I will get around to putting up everything that has happened between now and the last update.

It's about time you do a update. When you getting the drive shaft finished?

Sexy Flexy!

currently running a modified XJ front driveshaft, recently I added a 2" lift in the back with an AAL, in the front I am running Ruffstuff 1 ton Chevy steering kit with a flat top passenger side knuckle moving the drag link up and off the tie rod. This took care of a mild case of death wobble.

Now I am running 35" Milestar Patagonia's and recently went on a NOAS trip to Georgia's River Rock OHV. Gigi ran amazing all the way down there, and wheeled with no issues. On the way back my radiator cap failed and I got close to overheating. New cap and a burp and we were good to go.

The next and possibly last modification is just working hard to clear these 35"s and Gigi is pretty much done. Time to wheel.
